Ms. Joseph is currently an adjunct professor at the Tulane University School of Social Work where she teaches advocacy and community organizing. Ms. Joseph also worked in the corporate and non-profit arenas.
Ms. Joseph provides individual coaching and mentoring to student leaders and the administration on issues surrounding the development, and implementation of a plan to address structural racism and racial inequity in the classroom.
She also works with the University's Center for Natural Connections. Here, Ms. Joseph trains facilitators for the Talk, Touch, & Listen program. This program is designed to overcome internalized oppression and build parent capacity through the promotion of positive attitudes toward hair combing.
Recently, Ms. Joseph joined the training team at the People's Institute for Survival and Beyond. She focuses on organized individuals and community-based organizations and educates them, so that they can develop anti-racism networks that promote social transformation.
